Unemployed: Day Eleven

Mom was here over the weekend so there wasn't much job hunting activity. We had a great time and it was wonderful to see her. Thankfully, the weather cleared up and Sunday and Monday were perfect California days.

So, Sunday night, we went to P.F. Changs for dinner and here is what my fortune cookie said:



Today I had an interview. I have one tomorrow and another one on Thursday. The phone was really ringing today so it looks promising for more interviews later in the week and early into next week. I have plans to play some golf on Thursday afternoon also so that is helping kill some time.

Actually, the days have been very busy. Taking mom back to the airport yesterday meant I only had a half-day to work on job issues. Today with a morning interview, it meant much of the same. I filed for unemployment, got a lot of paperwork started and talked to a lot of people on the phone.

So far...so good. Cross your fingers for tomorrow though...that is the job I REALLY want.
