High School Golf

My High School didn't even have a softball team when I started the 9th grade. A group of scrappy little kids convinced a guy down the road to grade a hillside and we made a field. We raised money for uniforms, convinced the school board to let us use the buses and organize as a team and "BAM" -- Softball at Zane Trace High School began.

Now, they have GOLF! Where in the world was THAT when I was a student? Yes, I took one golf class in college but can you imagine the years of joy I have missed by not having been introduced to the sport earlier?

I won't be playing for a while this winter. The thumb xray below shows the piece of bone floating around in my left thumb. Not a fun feeling AT ALL!
